At some point in time we all end up at our dining table to grab a good meal. I was checking out Contemporary Light Fixtures for a Dining table and I noticed Ierace Suspension by Artemidehas an impressive look and a great decor.



The Ierace Suspension from Artemidewas designed by Matali Crasset. This cable suspended luminaire is fantastic for direct and diffused fluorescent lighting. This is one of the Contemporary Light Fixtures that has a diffuser that features a hand-blown transparent glass with a polished edge which allows light emission throughout the glass rim. The lamp lens/diffuser is a textured clear polycarbonate material. The circular diffuser support is a spun aluminum with a metallic grey painted finish. The suspension cables come in stainless steel and the canopy is a thermo-molded plastic with metallic grey finish. This fixture mounts to standard electrical junction boxes.



Ierace Suspension by Artemide requires one 55 Watt 120 Volt 2Gx13 T5 Circline Fluorescent lamp (not included). The piece measures 17.5 inches in Diameter and the length is adjustable to about 63 inches. The Ierace suspension is one of the Contemporary Light fixtures that lights up any environment with its bold design and magnificent light output.

Today I was checking out the Contemporary Light Fixtures for Hallways and Ceilings and I stumbled upon Artemide Lighting Mercury Ceiling Light.What caught my eye was the sophisticated look of this master piece. One could either mount it directly to the ceiling or have it suspended from the ceiling for a more urban look.



The Artemide Lighting Mercury Ceiling Light.has been designed by Ross Lovegrove in 2007. This cable suspended luminaire is perfect for indirect halogen lighting. This piece is composed of die cast aluminum with reflective units made of injection molded thermoplastic material with a metallic finish. This Contemporary Light Fixture is also equipped with a die cast aluminum reflector. This fixture places a floating assembly of large pebbles below a simple modern aluminum disc, these in turn reflect each other bouncing light between their taught bio-morphic surfaces and reflecting the environment around them.



This Contemporary Light Fixture serves two purposes. During the day the piece acts as a sculptural object reflecting the dynamics of natural light and the movement of people around. During night it acts as a light emitting source. The chandelier exhibits a majestic and modern design, along with quality craftsmanship, that is sure to beautifully brighten any contemporary atmosphere.
