Optik Wall Scone Contemporary Light Fixtures

Today I looked at a wall scone that serves a dual role. First and foremost it is a light fixture, and secondly it also serves as a mirror. This contemporary light fixture comes from ITRE and is known as Optik 40.

The Optik 40 Wall scone was designed by Massimiliano Artuso for ITRE in 2005. These contemporary light fixtures use diffused lighting for mirror effect and is great for fluorescent lighting.

The square shaped Optik is available in two sizes. The Optik 40 is 40cm x 40cm, while the Optik 26 is 26cm x 26cm. The Optik is constructed of a mirror glass diffuser which acts as a mirror when the light is off during daytime, and once the light is turned on, the circular lamp is visible. The structure of these contemporary light fixtures is made of Chrome metal. Overall it makes up an innovative design which fits in any modern home and lights up the room when desired. The Optik 40 takes a 55 W T5 Circline light bulb.
