Wish you could bring Manhattan into your living room, it probably would be a little difficult, though you sure can bring in
Manhattan TR in the form of contemporary light fixtures.

The
Manhattan TR is an architectural floor that resembles a skyscraper. These contemporary light fixtures are easy on the eye and the two tone metal finish creates an interesting background for the tall diffuser. The general illumination is provided by either the incandescent or the fluorescent light sources. The
Manhattan TR was designed by Danilo De Rossi for Leucos.
The metal base and the supporter for the diffuser is finished in either polished chrome or painted titanium. An ON/OFF switch is provided on a black cord that exits the base and an optional in-line dimmer is provided for the incandescent version. These Contemporary Light Fixtures come in two sizes. The
MANHATTAN TR1 is almost identical to the
Manhattan TR except that it is almost a foot taller than the it. Both of them are 10.25" in length and 9.875" in width. The
Manhattan TR comes in either of Satin White Glass or Ribbed Pale Green Glass while the
MANHATTAN TR1 comes in White Polycarbonate. If you wish to have matching items for these lamps, Companion table and
Leucos Manhattan P24 wall sconces are available.

Note that if you are planning on installing these contemporary light fixtures by yourself, it is recommended to read the installation manual as one can scratch the glass easily due to the weight of the diffuser while assembling the parts together. The
Manhattan TR Incandescent lamp takes 4x100W Type A-19 white, while the
MANHATTAN TR1 takes 5x100W Type A-19 white. These lamps are provided by the manufacturer. However, the lamps for the fluorescent version are not provided. The former one requires 2x55W 120V or 277V 2G11 lamps while the latter requires 3x36W 120V or 277V 2G11 lamps.
